The ninety-minute lessons begin on the beach with a dry run of your technique and approach, what to look for in a wave, how to read the water, and how to stay safe. All you need to bring is a positive attitude, swimwear, sunscreen and a towel. They’ll provide you with a rash guard, surfboards, booties and will even take photos for you. The confident, friendly instructors know just how to read the waves and show you how to navigate the swells from your board. Maui surfing lessons are offered in a small group setting, with one instructor for five surfers. The instructors are your patient, encouraging and attentive guides, who don’t let you quit! Their positive attitude and direction will have you surfing in no time! Private Maui surfing lessons are offered as well for those who prefer a one on one experience.
