Spend your morning and afternoon visiting two snorkel sites off the coast of Lanai! In the Hawaiian Islands, Lanai is well known for its large reefs and high concentrations of colorful fish. Swim peacefully atop the blue-green waters, and marvel at the marine life below. With a friendly and expert crew serving breakfast and lunch, the Kaulana Lanai Dolphin Snorkel is sure to float your boat.
The Kaulana is a comfortable and spacious 70 foot catamaran. She has two decks, and she’s outfitted with all the necessities for an excellent trip. Enjoy onboard snorkeling equipment, flotation devices, and places to rest in sun or shade. Does anyone in your party wear glasses? There are prescription masks for their underwater viewing convenience. Also find restrooms, food, and drinks, plus a water slide that drops you right into the ocean. Hooray!
Board Kaulana early in the morning at Lahaina Harbor. If you’re staying on the west side of Maui, ask about complimentary transportation to and from your vessel. Enjoy your continental breakfast and settle in while you listen to the captain’s safety briefing. Then, it’s off to Lanai, across the Auau Channel! Tip: Make sure to put at least one person in your family on dolphin duty – sometimes Hawaiian spinner dolphins are cruising the channel!
Your first stop is Kaulana’s exclusive mooring off “Club Lanai,” on the south side. The reef there is amazing, and the water is beautiful. While you get lost in the movements of the brilliant fish, keep your eyes open for Hawaiian green sea turtles! Your second stop is just as lovely, and you’ll climb back aboard to an utterly delicious barbecue lunch. Enjoy chicken, hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, and macaroni salad. There are definitely cookies for dessert, and once you’re done swimming, those of age are free to enjoy a complimentary cocktail!
