Maui Princess Dinner Cruise
The Maui Princess Dinner Cruise is fun and unique for many reasons. For one thing, it takes place on a 120 foot yacht–the largest boat departing from Lahaina Harbor, and it has been a Maui mainstay since 1978. Everyone is seated on the upper deck for the best sunset views, and many people make sure they take this cruise every time they come to the island.
When you book your seats, you can choose one of four entrees: island roasted chicken, succulent prime rib, mahi mahi with a macadamia nut crust, or a delicious vegetarian patty with Italian marinara sauce. All meals come with dinner rolls, a salad with fantastic papaya seed dressing, carrots, and roasted potatoes. Three alcoholic drinks are included in the price of your ticket, and you are welcome to purchase more for $4.00-$6.00 each.
The crew members on this cruise are exceptional: never have I seen better service on a dinner cruise than I have on the Maui Princess. The wait staff (dressed in tuxedo) serves you tableside, and if you need something they haven’t already provided, they are off like a shot to get it for you!
If you are part of a couple, you’ll be sharing a table with another duo. Some people have made new lifelong friends on the Maui Princess Dinner Cruise! The boat has a stabilizer built into the stern, so your dinner is enjoyed while cruising calmly along the west Maui coastline. The sun sets over the island of Lanai in the distance, and if you’re very lucky, you may see a dolphin or two! Soft live music plays while you eat, but the tunes get more dance-able once you’ve had dessert (cheesecake!). You get to watch all the stars come out, the gentle waves change colors as the sun sets, and the lights on the boat come up.
The Maui Princess Dinner Cruise is entirely romantic. I suggest you go.
