Each and every tour also serves to further the preservation efforts of the area by planting a young Koa tree sprout. Native to the Hawaiian Islands, Koa wood played a large role in Hawaiian crafting and culture, and its reforestation is a noble effort.
The vehicles are tough and sturdy, at home through the drylands and tropical forests. They can climb up the hills and down the valleys, over the rocks and through the brush, providing an excellent means for the journey, covering in minutes what would take hours on foot, and all while being easy to drive!
