Three times a week, Maui Nui Luau features a traditional fare buffet with teriyaki steaks, Kalua pork, mahi-mahi, Pulehu chicken, steamed sweet potatoes, fried rice, and more. The expansive salad bar provides potato-mac salad, pasta salad, sliced papaya, pineapple, Kula greens, assorted rolls and more to suit every taste. Desserts incorporate Hawaiian flavors such as macadamia, mango, guava and Hauipa coconut. Coffee, tea, juice, and soda are available, along with an open bar with your favorite your tropical libations!
Kaanapali Maui Luau Sunset Chant
As you relax after a sumptuous Polynesian feast, the Maui Nui luau show takes you on a Polynesian voyage through the South Pacific. The extravaganza, lit by tiki torches, begins with a “pareo” fashion show. Masterful drummers evoke a the sounds of Polynesia as you enjoy the traditional chant and dances from Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand and Hawaii. Feast your eyes on the mesmerizing beauty of the hula as it unravels the history of the Polynesian culture, while the heart-pounding dances of the Maori awaken the senses. Capping off the authentic Maui Nui luau, the Somoa fire-knife dancers gyrate and spin as they wield the fire knifes in a display of strength and daring.
