Redline Rafting Awesome Snorkel Tour to Molokini and Kanaio Coast

The Forbidden Coast tour would leave even Jacques Cousteau smiling from ear to ear. Hold on as you zoom across the water to the remote Kanaio Coastline, where you will view Maui’s most recent lava flow along with a number of enchanting caves, lava arches and grottoes.

Description

Maui Snorkel Tour to Molokini and Kanaio Coast with the one, the only, Redline Rafting!

If you want to snorkel some of the really cool spots that hardly anyone knows about, go with Redline Rafting. They are the only tour company that guarantees snorkeling at Molokini, because they’ll take you to the back of the crater!

The 35 foot raft, along with you and its excellent and knowledgeable crew, leaves from the Kihei Boat Ramp in the early morning. You’ll often get to snorkel at four different sites during the five hour trip. All the Maui snorkel gear you need, including wetsuits and devices to assist in flotation, is provided. A delicious breakfast of cinnamon rolls and fruit is served onboard, as well as deli sandwiches and pasta salad for lunch! Water, juices, and sodas are ready for you all day, and this raft (unlike many others) also sports a restroom–a huge plus. FYI, no alcohol is served on this tour; it’s just too exciting!

Because your Redline raft departs from Kihei, and they stick to a light passenger load of only 24, you’ll be one of the first vessels to reach Molokini Crater in the morning. The coral reefs, teeming with fish, are extra busy soon after sunrise (just like bird habitats are on land), so you’re sure to be dazzled by the marine life on display!

After Molokini, your Maui snorkel guides will zip you over to the Forbidden Coast on the south side of Maui. This area is generally buffeted by high winds, but when the winds are light, it is an amazing place to get underwater. There are lava arches, grottoes, and caves, inhabited by epic underwater life that is visited by human life only rarely. La Perouse Bay is a favorite hangout spot for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, and Redline will take you there, too. Excellent!

Check in for this awesome trip at 6:30 am at the Kihei Boat Ramp. The raft leaves promptly at 7 am, and you’ll return to land at 12 pm. See you on the raft! Woo hoo!

By the way, this trip is totally adventurous, so if you are fragile, pregnant, elderly, under the age of 8, or dealing with back or neck issues, Redline is not your best option. Click here to check out our slightly tamer Maui snorkel tours!
